We can complete specific surveys for specially protected Great Crested Newts (GCN), including population counts or e-DNA testing of pond water samples to identify their presence or absence within 500m radius of each site.

We can provide licensed and experienced surveyors to complete these types of surveys; which must be conducted between the survey window of March and June (see our survey calendar page for more details).

We also have experience in carrying out mitigation for amphibians including installation of newt exclusion fencing, (ring fencing, site perimeter fencing, segregated drift fencing, newt grids, pitfall traps and carpet tiles).
